Cancellations can be made up to 3 days prior to your check in with us with no penalty. If you cancel within 3 days before arrival, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Guests who No Show will be charged the total price of the reservation. A first night’s deposit will be taken at time of booking.
Moonlight Beach Motel is a completely NON-SMOKING AND PET FREE property. Smoking of any kind (cigarettes, vaping, marijuana) or having a pet on Motel property will result in a per day $250 penalty.(This includes common areas, patios, balconies and rooms.).

All reservations are on a first come first served basis.
All reservations require a valid credit card with the registered guest name printed.
Payment in full is required at check-in. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and cash (A credit card is still required for cash payment).
A one time $250 hold will be placed for all check-ins. This is in addition to room and tax.
Due to limited parking, each room is provided one parking space. If you have multiple vehicles there is additional street parking available.

This motel is one of the best hidden gems in Encinitas, the staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and the view is spectacular.
